Langley Speedway delivered one of the most chaotic Wednesday nights of the Old Guy Racing League's Late Model Stock season, with five cautions disrupting a 50-lap race that saw six lead changes and not a single driver finish the night with a clean sheet. When the dust settled, it was #72 Clyde Cunfer crossing the stripe first after starting fourth, collecting his first win of the season and his first all-time in the Late Model Stock series.

Cunfer's victory was anything but comfortable. Pole-sitter #21 Jacob Carter led 10 laps in the early going, while #18 Charlie Stutzman — who rolled off second — would eventually fade to seventh. It was #29 Bradley Lovings who spent the most time at the front, leading 21 of the race's 50 laps, but the win eluded him as he crossed second, still searching for his first series win this season despite two all-time victories to his name. #16 Mitchell Williams rounded out the podium in third, gaining two spots from his fifth-place starting position, adding 46 points to an already commanding series lead.

The hard charger award belonged to #074 Ric Wishon, who advanced four positions from tenth to sixth in a night that saw him rack up 21 incidents — the most of any competitor in the field. That Wishon moved forward at all while posting that incident total speaks to how turbulent the race was throughout, with no driver managing to stay clean across the 50 laps. Jacob Carter, who appeared set for a strong result from pole, dropped three spots to finish fourth, while #23 Wyatt Collins had the roughest night of any frontrunner, falling six positions from sixth to twelfth.

With seven rounds now complete in the Old Guy Racing League season, the standings heading forward paint a striking picture. Mitchell Williams sits atop the order with 349 points, but Clyde Cunfer's victory vaulted him to second at 309 points — a 40-point gap with races still remaining. Ron Walters holds third at 282 points, with Charlie Stutzman and Wyatt Collins separated by just eight points at fourth and fifth respectively. Williams has a meaningful cushion, but Cunfer's momentum after his first series win makes the fight far from settled.
