Round 12 of the GT3-Coffee Cup series at the Nürburgring Combined produced one of the tightest finishes of the season, with #311 RJ Concepcion taking his second win of the year by holding off pole-sitter #20 Alex Claudio across an 11-lap battle that featured four lead changes. Concepcion, who started from P2, led 6 of the 11 laps to claim the victory, while Claudio — who had set the pace from pole and led 5 laps himself — had to settle for the runner-up spot. #4 David Ven Roy completed the podium from his P3 starting position, rounding out a top three that separated by just three points in the standings heading into the result.

The race was a chaotic affair despite zero cautions, with incident counts telling their own story. Concepcion crossed the line with 11 incidents on his card, while P4 finisher #9 Pál Király and P5 #29 Bradley Lovings each accumulated 10. Further back, #10 Shajee Zuhair racked up 18 incidents on his way to P10, and #306 Damijan Horvatin led the field with 19 incidents in a difficult run to P16. The lone clean driver across all 20 starters was #88 Jesus Gonzalez, who unfortunately finished last despite avoiding contact throughout.

The performance of the afternoon belonged to #72 Tom Brice, who gained six positions from his P12 starting spot to finish sixth. Brice earned Hard Charger honors with that charge through the order, crossing the line with just 3 incidents — a composed run that stood out given how freely contact was distributed elsewhere in the field. #11 Pernell Hanelt matched the six-position gain, moving from P13 to P7, but it was Brice who took the official honors. On the other end of the spectrum, #89 Bradley Tidwell fell 12 spots from P6 to P18, and #71 Jonathan Williams — who had started fourth — tumbled ten positions to P14 in a race to forget.

That result carries significant weight for the standings, where Tidwell's collapse allowed the chasing pack to breathe. Tidwell still leads the standings with 664 points, but Ven Roy's podium moved him to 641 — just 23 points behind. Claudio's runner-up finish pushed him to 602 points in third, with Jonathan Williams sitting fourth at 597 after his damaging afternoon. Pernell Hanelt rounds out the top five at 570 points. With Tidwell bleeding points and three drivers within striking distance, the fight at the top of the GT3-Coffee Cup table is very much alive heading into the rounds ahead.
