Charlie Stutzman put together a commanding performance at Langley Speedway on Wednesday night, steering the #18 to victory in Round 6 of the OGRL Old Guy Racing League Late Model Stock Series. Starting fourth, Stutzman moved through the nine-car field to claim the win and the Hard Charger honors simultaneously, advancing three positions on his way to the front. He led 38 of 50 laps on the night — the most dominant share of any driver in the race — earning 60 points on the evening. It was Stutzman's second win of the season and sixth all-time in the series.

Pole sitter Wyatt Collins in the #23 was unable to convert his starting spot into a result, sliding back three positions to finish fourth after accumulating seven incidents — the highest total among any driver in the field. Collins led one lap and Ron Walters in the #99 led one lap as well, while #7 Harold Rothery spent significant time at the front, leading nine laps from his third-place starting spot before fading to seventh by the final checkered flag. Two cautions flew over the course of the 50-lap race, though neither produced caution laps, and four lead changes kept the running order in flux throughout the evening.

Mitchell Williams crossed the line second in the #16, adding 48 points to his season total despite four incidents on the night, while Clyde Cunfer in the #72 completed the podium in third, also posting four incidents after starting second. Clark Wolfe in the #74 quietly turned in one of the cleaner runs of the night, moving up two spots from seventh to fifth without a single incident. Three drivers — Stutzman, Wolfe, and Steve Segars — finished the race with zero incidents, underlining a split in the field between the clean and the costly.

In the standings, Mitchell Williams holds a firm grip at the top with 303 points, but the fight behind him is very much alive. Cunfer sits second at 254 points, with Walters at 246, Collins at 239, and Stutzman now fifth at 227 — meaning four drivers are separated by just 76 points with Stutzman's win keeping him very much within striking distance of the top spot. Wednesday night's result tightens the mid-pack battle considerably and ensures the coming rounds will carry real weight.
