At Langley Speedway on Wednesday night, #16 Mitchell Williams drove to victory in Round 3 of the Old Guy Racing League Late Model Stock Series, picking up his first win of the season and his 21st all-time in the series. Williams started sixth and led 13 of 50 laps, navigating a race that saw five cautions and five lead changes to take the checkered flag. Pole-sitter #29 Bradley Lovings led the most laps of anyone in the field with 26, but the #29 slipped four positions from where he started, ultimately finishing fifth after a difficult night that included 10 incidents.

Harold Rothery in the #7 brought home a second-place finish, leading 6 laps himself before settling in behind Williams at the end. Rothery ran a relatively clean race with just 2 incidents, earning his second podium result of the season and adding 53 points to his total. #21 Jacob Carter rounded out the podium in third, starting seventh and gaining four spots on the night with a spotless, zero-incident run. Behind the top three, #72 Clyde Cunfer crossed fourth from his starting position of fourth, though his race was marred by 9 incidents.

The hard charger award belonged to #074 Ric Wishon, who started 12th and clawed his way to a sixth-place finish, gaining six positions across 50 laps at Langley. Wishon's run was not without contact — he collected 16 incidents along the way — but the raw position gain stood as the best in the field on the night. Three drivers — Williams, Carter, and #2 Jake Ruark — completed the race with zero incidents, though Ruark finished last in 14th after starting from the back.

With three rounds complete, Williams now leads the standings with 144 points, six clear of Carter at 138. Charlie Stutzman sits third at 127 points despite a rough night that ended in 13th place, while Clyde Cunfer and Harold Rothery sit fourth and fifth at 120 and 118 points respectively. The gap between Williams and Rothery in fifth stands at just 26 points, meaning the title fight remains wide open with the full field still within striking distance as the series heads to its next round.
