Round 2 of the Old Guy Racing League's Fun Runs series at Concord Speedway belonged to #520 Michael Champlin, who converted his pole position into a race victory, leading 47 of the 50 laps in front of a nine-car field. Behind Champlin, #21 Jacob Carter put together a strong run from his third starting position, advancing one spot to finish second for what is also his first podium in the series. #16 Mitchell Williams rounded out the podium in third after starting fourth, and while that might look like a quiet result on paper, it carries real weight in the standings — Williams now sits atop the points table heading into Round 3, leveraging consistency across the first two rounds after picking up his first series win earlier in the season.

The hard charger award went to #87 Patrick Rawicz, who wheeled his machine from eighth on the grid all the way to sixth at the checkered flag, a two-position gain that came with eight incident points against his name — not a clean run, but an effective one. Meanwhile, #003 Andrew Jones had the roughest afternoon of the field, tumbling four positions from fifth to ninth and accumulating a race-high 12 incident points in the process. #8 James Santoyo, who lined up second, also slipped two spots back to fourth, leaving Champlin as the only driver who held or improved on his starting position without any issues in the top four.

With 97 races remaining in the season and all points showing zero in the standings — suggesting the series may be operating under a points reset or alternate scoring format — the title fight is wide open. Williams leads on a tiebreaker basis over Champlin and Carter, but three different drivers have now won in this young series, and the margins between the top five are razor thin. Concord gave the OGRL faithful an entertaining afternoon of short-track racing, and with the bulk of the schedule still ahead, every position battle from here forward will matter.
