Shajee Zuhair converted pole position into his maiden Coffee Cup Series victory at Autódromo José Carlos Pace, leading 18 of 31 laps in the #10 car to claim the checkered flag in Round 4. Despite accumulating six incidents during the caution-free affair, Zuhair managed the shifting dynamics of four lead changes to secure the 62-point haul. The victory marked a breakthrough moment for the driver who had entered the weekend without a series win to his credit.
Sean Reilly delivered the performance of the day, charging from 13th on the grid to finish second in the #97 machine. The hard charger's remarkable 11-position gain netted him 61 points and included a brief stint at the front of the field, leading one lap during the contest. Reilly's drive through traffic showcased impressive pace despite collecting 11 incidents along the way, ultimately falling just one point short of Zuhair at the finish.
Pál Király rounded out the podium in third place after starting from the front row in the #9 car. Király led 12 laps during the race but slipped one position from his starting spot, collecting 60 points and eight incidents. Bradley Tidwell maintained his fourth starting position to finish fourth in the #89, while David Ven Roy completed the top five after holding his fifth-place grid spot throughout the 31-lap distance.
The championship battle remains tight following the Interlagos round, with Kiko Lacalle leading the standings at 237 points despite starting 14th and gaining seven positions to finish seventh. Bradley Tidwell sits just two points back in second place at 235 points, while Jonathan Williams holds third at 212 points. The close points gap between the top contenders ensures the title fight will continue to intensify as the Coffee Cup Series progresses.
